Tour Description

In the afternoon, you will be picked up at 02.00 pm from your hotel in Yogyakarta. Our driver picks up from hotel. The temple is located in the border between Yogyakarta and Klaten regency. Next destination, you will be taken to see Ramayana Ballet Performance at Prambanan temple. Extend the enchantment with the Ramayana Tour, a captivating performance that brings to life the ancient Indian epic, Ramayana. Set against the backdrop of the illuminated Prambanan Temples, the traditional Javanese dance and drama unfold, narrating the epic tale of love, loyalty, and adventure.

 

The story starts in a royal contest where the strongest and smartest can win the hand of Princess Dewi Shinta. Prince Rama of Ayodhya wins her heart, but their happiness catches the eye of a powerful king, Rahwana, who desires Shinta for himself.

 

As Rama, Shinta, and Rama’s brother Laksmana explore the mysterious Dandaka Forest, Rahwana hatches a plan. He sends a magical golden deer to distract them. Shinta is charmed by the deer and asks Rama to catch it. This leads Rama away on a chase, leaving Shinta vulnerable.

 

After enjoying Ramayana Ballet, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. End of service.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

  • Please be ready 15 minutes before meeting time. The tour will depart from the Meeting point/your accommodation
  • Tour will take place both rain and shine
  • For lunch/breakfast, we choose a restaurant with food hygiene standard on your own. (optional)
  • The temple visit is possible to be reversed, Prambanan at the beginning and Borobudur at the end.
  • Reserve now & Pay Later (Half down payment is recommended)
  • Reservation can be done at least two days in advance

 

In case of any problem

  • The Performance of Ramayana Ballet Prambanan begins at 7:30 PM.
  • Rain Delay Before the Show: If it starts raining before the performance begins, there will be a delay of up to 30 minutes in the hope that the rain will stop.
  • Moving Indoors: If the rain continues beyond the initial delay, the performance will be moved to the indoor theatre to continue.
  • Rain Delay During the Show: If rain starts within the first 30 minutes of the performance, there will be a delay of about 30 minutes. If the rain continues after this delay, the performance will be moved to the indoor theatre.
  • Show Considered Complete: If the rain begins after more than 45 minutes of performance, the showwill be considered completed. In such cases, there will be no refunds issued

 

Terms and conditions:

  • Hotel pick up and drop off are available within Yogyakarta City (hotels or train station)
  • Hotel pick up and drop off from outside Yogyakara City are considered as additional service.
  • Airport Pick Up or drop off (Yogyakarta International Airport) is considered as an additional service.

 

Cancellation policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
