Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your
accommodation in Yogyakarta and making your way to the awe-inspiring Prambanan
Temple. Explore the mesmerizing Loro Jonggrang, a pivotal segment of the
Prambanan Temple compounds and immerse yourself in the ancient atmosphere.
The Prambanan Temple Complex is a remarkable architectural marvel
that was constructed in the 9th century, and it’s situated approximately 17 km
from Yogyakarta. This marvelous complex is Indonesia’s most extensive Hindu
temple site and was devoted to Trimurti, embodying God as the Creator (Brahma),
Preserver (Vishnu), and Destroyer (Shiva). There are four temples in one
complex of Prambanan, namely Lumbung, Bubrah, Sewu and Prambanan itself. The
main and biggest temple is Prambanan. If the weather is nice, you can see and
enjoy the sunset.
