Tour Description

Start the day with pickup from your accommodation in Yogyarta and travel to Jomblang Cave. Located in the southern part of Yogyakarta, it will take about 1,5-hour travel from Yogyakarta.

 

This exciting journey will take you down into the Jomblang cave to witness the celestial radiance that graces the depths of this unique place. Prepare yourself by putting on your rappelling harness, then descend vertically into the cave for a new and exciting feeling. Traverse a 270-meter journey through the dark, muddy tunnel until you reach the point where sunlight gracefully pierces the cave from above and you will certainly marvel at this sight. After your daring abseiling escapade, you can recharge and savor a well-deserved lunch. After your culinary adventure you may continue your tour towards Pindul cave, oya river and take in its beautiful azure deep waters and monumental caves.

 

The next destination, you will be driven to Pindul Cave, oya river. Pindul and Oya river is a combined activity of rafting and caving by using a rubber tube (tries float up). Goa Pindul is a cave that becomes part of the team of seven caves with Underground River streaming within. It lies in a village called Bejoharjo, Karangmojo, Gunungkidul. This tourist destination dveveloped by Government Tourism Office and local communities.

 

The length of Goa Pindul is 300 meters with a width of 5 meters and the distance of the water surface with the cave roof around 4 meters. The still water flow makes it except for everyone, not only adults however additionally children. Besides that, the tourists get a historical story of Goa Pindul during cave tubing.

 

When you are finished with cave and water tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. End of service.

  • 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Lunch break
  • 01:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Drive to Pindul Cave
  • 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Pindul Cave tubing continued by Oyo River Tubing
  • 04:00 PM – 05:30 PM: Return transfer to hotel. End of services!

  • Please wear slippers so it is easy to change shoes.
  • Cameras that shoot in low light are best for photography in the cave
